24/48 recording of the fire department rescue area near sabino canyon arizona at night. There are some native birds heard chirping along with a cricket and other bugs that start clicking. There is a light breeze that barely rustles the bushes and there is distant traffic noise.

A recording made around 5 am in early april. . . . The peaceful but yet exhilirating ambience of spring birds and crickets. There is an ocassional cricket who sounds like he literally must have been sitting point-blank in front of my microphone - a great surprise, you can literally hear his wings stridulating. Recorded using the handy zoom h4n and the built-in stereo mics.

The addresses i chose are sportsman’s park racetrack (cicero) and mission hills golf club. I made a substitution with one sound file that i recorded myself in nature in my neighborhood to incorporate the sounds of a golf course. Although the other file was used from freesound. Org. Additionally, what can be heard on this file is the sounds of birds chirping and rain falling as well as the sound a fast car speeding around a track to propose some contrast. Something that could spark the listener’s interest is that not often does nature and the machines that we humans make harmonize with each other, but in this i think they flow just fine. About 2. 5 minutes of ambient audio recorded at the hurunui jacks campground adjacent to the kaniere river near hokitika on the west coast of new zealand. This is an inland tropical rain-forest setting. There are lots of insect sounds, birds, and the sound of the river (not very prominent) in the background. No other sounds captured (no cars, airplanes, honking horns, people talking, etc). Would be good to use for a camp scene ambient in a similar location, nature scene, etc. Recorded with a zoom h1.

January 30, 2014. A major ice storm moves in to the east coast of the united states. Sitting in a small cabin in the woods of north carolina, the sound of ice particles (sleet) hitting a stove-pipe can be heard. It's cold. It's bleak. The power has just cut off.
